In asbestos disease litigation, one is required to have a high degree of knowledge of exposure issues. This includes knowledge of medical dose-response relationships and epidemiological studies on causation. This is significant because it is the degree of exposure that relates to the potential fault or liability of any client and the value of any settlement.
