Asbestos Expert Witness
An expert witnesses’ insight and industry knowledge often is the deciding factor in a case. Our founding partner, Dennis Markusson, has more than 30 years’ experience in asbestos defense litigation. He is the former assistant general counsel of Johns Manville Corporation, was in charge of the company’s asbestos litigation, and was instrumental in the formation of The Manville Trust. His asbestos case management and trial experience includes currently serving as national coordinating defense counsel for a company that once manufactured industrial products containing asbestos.
As an expert witness, he works with clients on asbestos issues and factors affecting insurance coverage, including reinsurance. His expert witness work includes factors impacting reinsurance. He has a generation’s worth of knowledge of the relevant professional and medical literature on the true effects of industrial substances on individual health. And, he has particular sensitivity to how it all plays out in management offices and the corporate boardroom.
