Markusson, Green & Jarvis, P.C., was established in 1984 under a predecessor firm name and was re-established under its present name in 1996.  MGJ has a fundamental commitment to providing first-rate legal services to our clients.  We offer a broad range of experience in several litigation arenas, and our clients include not only insurance carriers and their insureds, but also national and local corporations.  Our services go beyond litigation support, reaching to employment counseling and commercial transactions as well. 

MGJ is the approved defense counsel for many insurance carriers.  We work closely with clients and their insurance carriers to provide cost-effective litigation-support solutions that are successful and practical.  We work with claim handlers to develop early litigation plans and budgets to ensure highly effective representation and client satisfaction.  We strive to create long-lasting client relationships and build trust with those whom we represent. 

MGJ handles significant litigation in Colorado, Wyoming, New Mexico, Arizona and Utah.  We also have appeared in numerous U.S. District Courts and U.S. Circuit Courts of Appeal, as well as in the United States Court of Federal Claims. 

Our attorneys' backgrounds are diverse, with many firm members maintaining an active trial practice in multiple jurisdictions.  Our attorneys work in teams, allowing senior shareholders to mentor associates and offer effective, disciplined training while giving associates the opportunity to hone their skills in critical case work.
